JOTA-JOTI is the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event, taking place every year over the third full weekend of October. It’s a fantastic opportunity for groups and sections to participate in an international Jamboree.
JOTA-JOTI stands for Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI), and is organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).
After last years success we have agein joined forces with the 2nd Caldicot Scout Group, 1st Magor Scout Group, and Relentless ESU, and will be based at the Caldicot Scout Hall for the weekend.
This Year we will be operating from Friday to Sunday over the airwaves, using the call sign GB5SJ (Golf Bravo Five Sierra Juliet). Multiple radios will be set up, working across various bands & modes across the weekend.
